FILTERS FOR COMPRESSED AIR
The high efficiency filters threaded DD+ types, DDp, PD+, PDp, UD+ and QD have been specially developed by Atlas Copco to remove solid particles, liquid water and oil in varying degrees according to ISO 8573-1.
With these filters, substantially improves the quality of compressed air and give significant benefits of cost reductions.
Filter cartridge for compressed air filters
► DD+ FILTERS: Coalescing filters for general protection that removes solid particles, liquid water and a maximum oil carry-over of 0.07mg/m3 and pressure drop of 180mbar.
► PD+ FILTERS: High-efficiency coalescing filters that remove solid particles, liquid water and a maximum oil carry-over of 0.008mg/m3 and a pressure drop of 215mbar. It must be preceded by the filter DD+.
► QD FILTERS: Activated carbon filters to remove oil vapors and hydrocarbon odors, with a maximum residual oil content of 0.003 mg/m3 (0.003 ppm). These filters must be preceded by prior filtration.
► UD+ FILTERS: 2-in-1 coalescing filters, with NAUTILUS filtration technology, reduces the pressure drop by 40% compared to the classic installation of a DD+ plus a PD+, which provides energy savings that reduces costs by 50% after one year of operation. 245mbar pressure drop. Reduces installation space and maintenance costs while reducing waste costs. UD+ filtration capacity certified according to ISO 12500-1 and ISO 8573-2:2018. Maximum oil content of 0.0009 mg/m3.
These filters have a surface treatment that protects against corrosion.
DD+, PD+ and UD+ types include an automatic air vent, while the QD a manual purge.
In sizes 50(l/s) and higher includes a differential pressure gauge to check the status of the filter cartridge, while the lower models have a pressure gauge.
All filters have security buzzer.
The filter cartridges are double o-ring seal to ensure that no internal leakage of unfiltered air.
